Customer Review: Great pot.
Summary: 4 Stars
This is a great pot. Just know that the entire surface is polished and easy to scratch. Not an issue for me, but worth noting nevertheless. The colander rests about 1.5'' to 2'' from the bottom of the pot, so you must have a bit of water in there before you even reach the bottom of the colander. The directions for the pot recommend not boiling on MAX, which I highly recommend so you don't have water boiling out around the edges of the colander. That being said, I do really like this pot. It's relatively heavy and holds more than enough pasta for a meal for 2 people when boiling in the colander. In time, I might not be boiling the pasta in the colander since it requires the additional water. At the moment though, this really isn't a problem for me. The colander is relatively heavy duty itself.
