I have bought all my cookware at Amazon and have nearly always selected Calphalon. I needed a 4 quart saucepan. Cuisinart has the right product at the right price. I have used it considerably in the last month. It has exceeded my expectations as to construction and useability. I highly recommend it.

Cool grip riveted handles for ease of use, durable hard anodized exterior, Quantanium non-stick interior, tempered glass covers seal in flavor, hard anodized, oven-safe construction.Large enough to simmer up a generous batch of soup or cook pasta sauce for a crowd, without being too big to move easily around the stove, this 4-quart saucepan is a real kitchen workhorse. The thick, hard-anodized aluminum construction conducts heat evenly and efficiently through the sides as well as the base, ideal for gentle simmering, and the wide shape speeds up the reduction of sauces. A tempered glass lid seals in flavor while keeping the contents visible, and a specially designed rim allows for easy drip-free pouring.
Cuisinart Chef's Classic hard-anodized cookware features an advanced Quantanium nonstick coating, designed for healthy low-fat cooking. The coating is tough enough for use with metal utensils. Even delicate foods like fish can be cooked without sticking, and cleanup is quick and easy. Every pan is constructed from durable 3mm hard-anodized aluminum, providing superb heat transfer without hot spots.
