almost everyone has written in and says that this tea kettle doesnt whistle.
this tea kettle whistles. the whistle is on the top of the kettle. it doesnt sound like a whistle, but sounds more like a harmonica. i suppose if you only keep a small amount of water in this kettle, most of the steam pressure will be released in the spout, not leaving enough pressure to activate the whistler on the top of the kettle. if there is a reasonable amount of water in the kettle, the kettle will let you know when the water is boiling.
