I purchased this last month because hot air poppers do not last long enough, and some shoot popcorn all over the counter. I used to pop corn in a pot on an electric stove top, but i got rid of that and bought an induction stove top burner. While induction is great for regular cooking, for some reason pop corn gets burned too much.
Cuisinart unit works fine. few if any unpopped kernals. quality components. Use olive oil instead of butter. barely any difference in taste.
