Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 8-Inch Open SkilletCustomer Review: A little smaller than I expected!! Summary: 3 StarsA little smaller than I expected, but it still look nice and good.
I find that often food will stick even if i use a lot of oil. Hrmm..not sure why.
I bought this together with Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 12", and I like the non-stick more. The reason is use less oil and dont have to wash after used.
Customer Review: Great pan but NO LID Summary: 4 StarsI like this pan a lot, but since I don't have the set, bought it singly, there is no lid, and no apparent way to purchase one either. Very frustrating.
Customer Review: Great for entertaining! Summary: 5 StarsWe recently bought a Cuisinart Stainless set for ourselves and decided our neighbors had to have one of the pans to try out. It's worked out great for them as they do lots of entertaining and need to cook large batches of food. It does take some time getting used to cooking on these stainless pans after using non-stick for so long but it's worth it!
Customer Review: GREAT PAN Summary: 5 StarsI've had this pan for a few weeks now and probably use it everyday. I find it very easy to use and to clean up. You do have to use some butter or oil but,I would rather have that than the chemicals that come from the non-stick pans. I use Bar Keepers Friend to clean any discoloration and they look brand new. Great pan and an excellent value.
Customer Review: Excellent Piece of Cookware. Summary: 5 StarsAfter doing some research on the best materials for cookware, I came across this pan. It was the best I could hope for with my limited budget. It was a Valentine's Day gift for my mom, so it had to be good!
I was surprised by the high quality of this pan. The handle is bolted securely to the pan, so it's not likely to seperate from it. The handle doesn't get too hot, either. The pan is nicely weighted, heats up quickly and evenly, and only requires a small amount of oil (my mom uses 2 teaspoons) to keep food from sticking to it.
It's a very good pan, especially for the price.
