I like this model because it's easy to assemble, easy to use, does what it's supposed to do, and appears to be durable. Need I say more? Well, the price was right. I purchased this blender at a wholesale club for under $70. I expect excellent quality and performance from a brand like Cuisinart, but am unwilling to pay regular retail price for any appliance I don't absolutely need.
