I use this cake tester to flip Aebleskivers, and it works perfectly! It is sturdy enough that it doesn't bend, and thin enough that the Aebleskiver doesn't stick to it. It's also thin enough that it doesn't leave any noticeable holes when I use it to check if the centers are done - or to skewer the Aebleskivers and transfer them to a plate. It is dishwasher safe and will undoubtedly give me many years of service.
