I make everything I can, last week it was gourmet doggie cookies.
I melted doggie candy in this boiler, and dipped the milk bones in the
melted treats and added sprinkles. I have dipped people cookies in this too. Pretzels too using left over easter or halloween candy. Every good cook should have one of these especially ones with Cuisinart Cookware.
I highly reccomend this to everyone
Description of Cuisinart TPC111-18 MultiClad Pro Stainless Steel Double Boiler
Designed for serious cooks, Cuisinart's MultiClad stainless pots and pans heat quickly and uniformly thanks to an aluminum core bonded between layers of 18/10 stainless steel. The core runs across the bottoms and all the way up the sides of the cookware to disperse heat evenly throughout food. The nonreactive interior layer is highly polished so it's naturally stick-resistant as well as resistant to discoloration and corrosion. A polished band just below each pan's rim handsomely accents the brushed exterior.Ideal for cooking up to 2-1/2 quarts of delicate sauces and melting chocolate, this double boiler fits into any MultiClad stainless pan that measures either 7 or 7-1/2 inches in diameter. Highly polished, it's made of 18/10 stainless steel and has a sturdy handle riveted for strength and a tapered rim for drip-free pouring. Though it's dishwasher-safe, hand washing is recommended to maintain the double boiler's beauty throughout its lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
