I was looking for a 2nd carafe for my cof-900 (which I love), but buying this reconditioned unit is cheaper, and I get a backup coffee maker that just might be OK too.
Description of Factory-Reconditioned Cuisinart COF-900BKFR Thermal Carafe 10-Cup Coffeemaker, Black
This sleek coffeemaker comes with a 10-cup thermal carafe that keeps coffee hot for up to six hours--that means no warming plate to turn coffee bitter. In addition, the carafe's brew-through lid seals shut after brewing is completed, preventing air from entering and spoiling full coffee flavor. The lid also permits coffee to be poured hands-free--no turning or adjusting to open the lid. Other features include a 24-hour clock/timer to automatically brew coffee at a selected time; a 30-second pause feature when the carafe is removed for a midbrew pour; automatic shutoff and an audible beep when brewing is completed; an easy-to-read, magnified water-level indicator; and cord storage in the base. --Fred BrackEditor's note: This is a reconditioned small appliance.
